The video estimates a need for 740 million houses in the developing world. “That would require building 100,000 new homes every day for the next 20 years.” That is a lot of housing. Advantages of this new type of housing include:

- Lightweight materials
- Small construction crews
- Much quicker to erect
- Long-lasting
- Immune to bugs, rot, etc.
